Management Supervision Coaching.

Do you know someone who is new in a management job, with little or no management training?  Or are you concerned about an experienced manager currently facing some difficult staffing issues?  If the answer is yes to one of these questions, I can help.

Often the line supervision we receive in work is not sufficient or appropriate to help us with the management of staff we are responsible for.  Our boss may not have the time, or the people skills, to support us in a way that meets our needs.

I offer an opportunity to discuss the management of staff in a safe and supportive environment.

Sometimes managers just need someone outside of their organisation to move their thinking on.  Sometimes managers really do need a lot of support to be effective in role.  Whatever the managers need, the confidential nature of our conversations means they can explore deeper issues than would be appropriate with a line manager.  Deeper issues, though, if not addressed, may ultimately cost the individual, and their organisation heavily.

Management supervision schedules are negotiated according to need.  Sometimes one session is enough.  Sometimes weekly sessions are appropriate.  Other times monthly meetings are more appropriate.  What is reassuring is that my approach to management supervision coaching is that I encourage greater understanding of the problem situations faced by managers, helping managers to feel supported and make better, less reactive, decisions.
